I watched the Live stream of the Oscar De La Renta 2012 Collection. It was so beautiful, I teared up. And as always, there is a favorite look. Out of the 63 looks, this green gown paired with a light blue heel is my favorite.

Finding, by Richard Brautigan
One my favorite poems of all time, by Richard Braughtigan (along with a painting of him):
Finding is loving
something else.
I think about,
Perhaps even
Mourn what I
Lost to find this.
Back in the Day of the Day
Can you imagine living in a time where women wanted to gain weight because that made them more desirable? I wish I was living in that time.
Affordable ways to dress "green"
In the spirit of Earth Day, I picked out a few of my favorite "green" items. All of them affordable, to help you feel a little bit more like spring is here (even though, here in D.C., it doesn't feel that way).
Colorful shopper bag from Zara, $109
A tailored linen dress with a sweetheart neckline from ASOS, $79
Turquoise & Caicos nail polish by Essie, $8 (it reminds me of home - I want to be back in the Caribbean!)
Inspiration, all the way from Seoul
I saw this picture on facehunter.com (love his site!) and felt so inpired by this young girls unique look. Her neon-yellow nail polish, her oversized headphones and graphic outfit are amazing.

Eco-friendly fashions by Auralis
I love this jumper by Auralis, an eco-friendly designer with Puerto Rican roots (like myself!) who found inspiration for this collection from the island fashions back in the 60's and 70's. Auralis uses mostly hemp, bamboo and organic cotton when constructing her pieces. And they're gorgeous.
